A day ago I received this email from HugoBoss, with an invitation to become their fan on Facebook. What is interesting is that that day HugoBoss had around 2,300 fans on Facebook, but today the number has risen to 4,300 fans - a 86.9% increase in Facebook fans within just 1 day!.
And here you can see the email which brought HugoBoss 86.9% more Facebook fans in just 1 day.

86.9% is a rather meaningless figure if you don’t know the size of their email list…
Johnny, I agree with your statement, as the response or conversion rate was maybe only a small percentage of people who receieved the newsletter who then became their Facebook fans, but the point in here is that it has increased their Facebook fan base by 86.9% within 1 day. And today I checked their fans number and another 1,200 people became their fans, bringing up the total from 2,300 before the campaign to 5,506 just within 4 days, which I believe is still pretty good success. Don’t you think so?…Jan
