I have found this very useful post from carsonified.com about how highrise.com increase their sign ups by 200% by doing A/B or multivariate testing. This result clearly demonstrates the importance of A/B and multivariate testing for any business.

On the Highrise.com home page, they have tested various calls to action buttons: Free Trial, Sign-up for Free Trial, See Plans and Pricing. And the winner is:  “See Plans and Pricing” – increase in sign-ups by 200%.
